![]() 2 ½ D Page 2 of 3 Apply the Simple Choker effect to remove the final fringe of sky from the Cliffs layer. If any holes were created in the Cliffs layer, the Cliffs Fill layer will take care of them. ![]() ![]()
Parent the Cliff Fill layer to the Cliff layer. Duplicate the Cliff layer and remove all of the effects and masks. Create a new mask around the grass in the foreground. This mask does not need to be precise. When finished, press the F key to bring up Mask Feather and feather the mask approximately 30 pixels. ![]() Now it is time to reposition the layers to create a multi-plane effect. Since the grass layer will be closest to the viewer, scale this layer to 150%. The Cliff layer does not need to be scaled, but the masked region of the clouds layer will be visible unless it is moved. Reposition the Clouds layer by moving it down on the Y-axis. I moved mine to 264. This will of course squish your layer somewhat, but you can always rescale all of the layers in the composition to compensate. Source: Digital Meida Online, Inc.
