Industry Luminaries to Keynote iHollywood Forum's Digital Studio Summit

LOS ANGELES (Jun. 05, 2003) -- iHollywood Forum, Inc. today announced that Chuck Comisky, Visual Effects Supervisor for James Cameron's Earthship Productions; Steve Wright, Technical Director, Cinesite; and Volker Engel, Oscar award winner for Best Special Effects for Independence Day, will keynote "The Digital Studio," an executive summit and showcase that will focus on how digital technology is transforming Hollywood, film and television.

The two-day summit will take place on June 19-20, 2003, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Wyndham Belage Hotel in West Hollywood.

Featuring three tracks of panel discussions and presentations, and an exhibitor and demo showcase, the event will bring together a wide range of entertainment industry professionals from studio executives to financial analysts who will hear from the leaders and pioneers in digital technology. Attendees will consider how to best incorporate digital technology into the creative and production process while keeping costs reasonable. Topics to be covered include visual effects; animation, high-definition filmmaking and television, acquisition, digital intermediates and mastering, audio, digital cinema, digital storyboards, production and post-production; DVD home video, HDTV, marketing and distribution.
