In this system DPS has combined all-new dual-stream real-time hardwarewith powerful NLE software, to create a fully integrated editing package and set a new price performancestandard. dpsVelocity's new hardware efficiently and reliably delivers broadcast-quality real-time compressed or uncompressed digital video plus real-time 3D effects to professional video editors. About dpsVelocity NLE Software
dpsVelocity's real-time editing features include the ability to handle up to 5 layers of combined video, graphics, and titles, 4 channels of stereo audio, advanced clip trimming, and a full complement of timeline editing features such as 3 and 4 point edits, slip, slide, insert, lift, extract, overlay and fit-to-fill modes. The user can create an unlimited number of effects including over 400 user customizable real-time 12 bit 2D wipes and 3D transitions. Audio is managed using the 8 real-time hardware tracks and unlimited virtual tracks. Background audio mixing from unlimited source tracks to a single real-time audio track is also supported. Media acquisition and control are handled through the built-in batch digitizing, quick capture and print to tape features.
