Dual processor cores enable efficient parallel processing when running multi-threaded applications and efficient operation of multiple applications concurrently.

Graphic artists, animators and high-end CAD users can confidently power up the most demanding applications, virtually anytime, anywhere and remain productive through features such as:

-- NVIDIA Quadro FX OpenGL graphics with up to 512MB dedicated graphics memory

-- 2MB L2 cache and a fast 667MHz front side bus

-- Up to 4GB(a) of high speed DDR2 memory

-- 667MHz memory interface to speed the transfer of data

-- Bright displays up to WUXGA (1920 X 1200) resolution

-- On-board IEEE 1394, three-button touch pad, and DVI and SVGA video outputs

Dell Precision M65 - True Mobility for Mobile Workstations

As light as approximately 6.2 pounds(a) in a starting configuration, the Dell Precision M65 delivers the perfect balance of workstation performance and mobility. The latest Intel dual-core processors, a 15.4-inch wide-aspect display, optional embedded mobile broadband capability and biometric finger print reader for excellent security gives customers a certified, powerful and secure mobile workstation that is designed to travel.

The Dell Precision M65 delivers performance on the go for workstation users to power through complex applications, such as digital content creation and financial analysis. Features include:

-- 2MB L2 cache and a fast 667MHz front side bus

-- Up to 4GB(a) of high-speed DDR2 memory

-- 667MHz memory interface to speed the transfer of data

-- Up to 512MB shared graphics memory with NVIDIA(R) Quadro(R) FX 350M TurboCache(a)

-- 128-bit graphics pipeline and 128-bit graphics memory interface

-- TPM 1.2 support

-- Optional dual batteries for extended battery life

Since durability and reliability are key concerns for workstation users, both new models feature a solid magnesium alloy exoskeleton, and the display bezel design helps minimize screen marking. Sealed spill resistant keyboards, full-time hard drive protection with StrikeZone, and steel reinforced security slots are included standard on all models. Adhering to Dell's Design for the Environment program, both systems meet the requirements of the European Union's Restriction of Hazardous Substances directive.

Content Insider #148 - The iGen
NO...Doesn't have a thing to do with "that" smartphone...or "that" store...or "that" tablet. It's the next generation. Kids and we mean little kids. They've come pre-wired and we're still trying to figure out how to IM. It's the IGen. They want it instantly. They want to use it instantly. They expect their photos, their video, their music, their stuff immediately when/where/how they want it. Read More

Insider #149 - Game Demographics
The blood, gore, adrenalin challenges that were unveiled at E3 and enjoyed at ComicCon are fun to look at, easy to hold but are they really the games people want to plunk down their credit cards to own or rent time with? Seems as though the investors, the players who control the controllers have a different idea of a "good" game than the kids who develop them. While mobs of people play educational, informational, stimulating games our kid huddles in his room and mumbles "The Few, The Proud, The Gamers." Read More
